Inspired by the pioneering long-haul flights of Junkers in the 1930s, this summer we embarked on a spectacular tour of Europe with the new A50 Junior. The 42-day journey began on June 7, 2025, covering more than 14,000 kilometers and passing through more than 12 countries. At the controls was a single pilot: Claus Cordes, President of the German Aeroclub, who covered the entire route in his own A50 Junior, D-MQUI. Along the way, there were numerous stops to take part in local air shows. The passion and enthusiasm shown to the pilot at each stop was a real highlight of the trip.
The aim was to revive the pioneering spirit of the past and, above all, to show how breathtakingly beautiful it can be to fly through Europe in an open aircraft. And we succeeded!
